On this blog, I’ve explained how we celebrate traditional Christmas and Orthodox Christmas. We keep our tree for a long time, well into January. What might be unusual to others is really the norm for us.
Each year we have our tree, it seems to get better and better. I should probably put myself on a Christmas budget, honestly. I go bananas. Anyway, here are some pics of our new ornaments courtesy of Michael’s, Wal-Mart, Target, CVS Pharmacy, and Crate and Barrel. I also have a special ornament from Shea Moisture, and some traditional Ukrainian ornaments. The last post will be our tree! 🙂
It’s really cool to celebrate my husband’s and son’s heritage. We were planning to get a Ukrainian Christmas tree blanket but we might get that next year.
The snowflakes are courtesy of Target. I’m not sure if they still sell them for I didn’t see them this year (at least at the Target I frequent). The fluffy snowmen are courtesy of Wal-Mart.
The big, round Snowman is from Crate and Barrel. I think that was a low-key theme this year.
My hubby and I are huge Game of Thrones fans so yeah…we had to.
I’ve been to Starbucks so much this month, I really need to buy stock.
The cane and tree are from Crate and Barrel.
Honestly, I don’t remember where I got this one. But it’s cute, isn’t it?
This was a very cool additional gift from Shea Moisture! 🙂
In honor of the hubby being a photographer. From Michael’s.
I legit think this is how Sushi sees herself. From Wal-Mart.
If you don’t have a Paw Patrol ornament, do you even parent? From CVS.
It’s a running joke inside our home that we don’t have enough soy sauce since I tend to use a lot of it in my cooking dishes. So, we got a soy sauce ornament. From Michael’s.
Bear loves planes and honestly, this was pretty cool. From Wal-Mart.
And finally our tree!
I keep thinking I have too many ornaments but then I see this pic and think I don’t have enough. I’m still on the hunt to have a tree with so many ornaments, you can’t see the greenery.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, everyone! xoxoxo
